'A grief' is a game about the five stages of grief. The player is represented by a peacock, which is my personal symbol of grief as my deceased grandfather raised peacocks that died after his passing one by one, like falling petals. The stages of grief are explored through different rooms: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and the final room which is locked- acceptance. To access the room of acceptance, the player collects closure as they pass through the other rooms and two keys for opening the locked door. To pass through the room of acceptance, the player enters one final door in an empty grave that unites the player with their grief and helps them cross it.

This was a stunning game to experience. I dont know if you looked into color theory, but the aesthetic of your game aligns with some interesting aspects of color theory. I really loved the concept and the way it flowed through this game

Really complete game flow! I even felt some philosophical breath in the story!

I love how the music immerses me into the game. I love the story and all the elements are so unified. Love this

What a special art style and such an entire story of the whole game! Not only the interaction of the game itself but also the mood behind the game attracted me a lot.

Beautiful art style and music. Quite deep storytelling, and an aesthetic that perfectly matches the theme. Some colliders could be changed, especially those of the enemies, but I think this game and concept are very well executed.

I must say, the game concept is so far my favorite one. It's so meaningful and has a deep connection with your own experience. The entire game visual is also beautiful to look at, I really enjoy how it turned out.

I love the game concept, which is every meaningful and narrative. It seems like a story. I am very impressed by this experience.

The game was personally my favourite in the class. I love the concept, it had real depth and meaning, it is very well done and cohesive.

It's an elegent game with exquisite images and sounds. Fragile at the beginning, strong in the end. I'm impressed by the overall experience and inner connection the game builds.

This game was beautifully rendered, the artwork encapsulates the topic very well. I remember in class you being unsure about the levels of abstraction you applied to each stage of grief (by not labeling them), but I think this was very effective. It adds an element of searching and loss to the journey that connects back to your theme effectively.

I enjoyed this game because it reminds me of my personal experience in a family crisis. well depicts the dynamics of human minds dealing with sadness and heartbroken experience.
